About us

Our team has expertise in helping you prepare for your travel to ensure you have the best opportunity of a safe and healthy travel experience.

Collectively we have a wealth of personal travel experience from Antarctica to the Arctic and much of which is in between.

Dr Rebecca Stewart has expertise in delivering travel medicine services, and is a certified Yellow Fever Vaccinator.

Our nursing team is experienced in travel medicine vaccination.

About travel health

  • Travel Health is not all about vaccinations! Travel Health encompasses addressing travellers' concerns about their trip, flight safety, healthy eating and drinking, and minimising the risk of infections from other humans, animals, and insects.
  • Whether your travel is for tourism, volunteering, mission, visiting friends and relatives, work or expedition or adventure travel (altitude, trekkers, divers, kayakers) we can help you prepare.
  • At this point vaccinations come into the picture! Our recommendations are based on your previous travel experience and vaccinations, your destination and intended activities.
  • Experienced travellers often have specific issues, and we deal with these rather than teaching them what they already feel confident about.
  • We also assist with overseas deployments for work contracts, volunteers, exchanges, expeditions, police or military deployments, and aid projects. Our skills include dealing with travellers who return with health concerns, with often unusual illnesses with which we are familiar.

About your appointment

  • We recommend you book well in advance to allow adequate time for all vaccination options.
  • Your clinic visit will be from 30-60 minutes.
  • Please bring your travel itinerary, list of previous vaccinations (routine and travel vaccinations), and list of medications you are taking.
  • Vaccinations are given following a comprehensive travel consultation.
  • All this is backed up with useful resources.
  • We only accept eft-pos or electronic transactions. No credit cards, cash or cheques.
