Infection Control
Covid is still with us, along with other respiratory and diarrhoea/vomiting viral infections. All are highly infectious with person to person spread.
Although routine mask wearing is no longer required, we still request that those with any respiratory symptoms (cough, cold, runny nose, sore throat), or diarrhoea and/or vomiting:
-
Tell reception if you have symptoms of cough, cold, fever, diarrhea or vomiting).
-
A nurse will triage you to decide on where and when to see you.
-
You may be asked to do a Covid test before coming to the clinic.
-
You may be asked to wait outside or in your car until called in.
-
You will be asked to wear a mask on entering the building (or discuss options with the receptionist/nurse if you are unable to wear a mask).
This is to protect other people in the building (vulnerable patients and staff) from any infections.
We also respect patients and staff who prefer to continue wearing a mask when visiting the practice.
